The villa

Casa Caracas is our family home: a whitewashed Andalusian villa on a quiet hillside in Campo Mijas, looking out over Fuengirola to the Mediterranean. It sleeps ten in five bedrooms, with five bathrooms, a private pool and terraces on two levels.

Everything is on one plot behind the gate: the main house, a separate garden bedroom with its own entrance, the pool, the lawn and shaded parking. Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included.

Living room

The living room is the heart of the house: a large corner sofa, a fireplace for winter evenings and a 65-inch TV with Netflix. Wide bay windows look over Fuengirola to the sea, and doors open straight onto the terrace.

Kitchen & dining

A fully equipped family kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, ice machine and filtered-water tap. The dining table seats ten by the panoramic windows, and the covered terrace under the arches is made for long lunches outside.

Five bedrooms, four en suite

Five bedrooms over three levels, four of them en suite. The master bedroom opens onto the upper terrace, and the garden bedroom has its own entrance for extra privacy.

Pool

The private pool sits below the house with the coast on the horizon. It is unheated, with steps at the shallow end and about two metres at the deepest point, surrounded by sun loungers.

Terraces

Views

From almost every terrace and window you look over Fuengirola to the Mediterranean. On clear days the coast stretches for miles, and the sunsets are something guests remember.

A gated plot with lawn, palms and shaded parking for your cars. The house is in a quiet residential street, seven minutes' drive from the beach.

House rules

  • Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 11:00
  • Maximum 10 guests; the sofa bed does not add capacity
  • No smoking inside the house
  • No parties or events
  • Quiet hours after 22:00
  • The pool is unheated, about 2 m at its deepest. Children must be supervised.
  • Our gardener usually visits on Thursdays for the pool and garden.
  • One exterior camera covers only the gate, driveway and street.
